Legal regulations
• Legal provisions:
Any information contained in any part of the site the home page of which is located at http://www.axent.anixtersoluciones.com or presented through the weekly newsletter called "Conexión Anixter Newsletter" (Axent News) ("the Site" or "our Site", and "the Weekly Newsletter" or "our Weekly Newsletter" respectively) is provided pursuant to the Legal Provisions hereunder and their specific Annexes and Legal Notices (as a group, "Terms and Conditions").
The Terms and Conditions and the Service Information will be applicable to all visitors to the Site and all Service Users of the Weekly Newsletter since the moment they access the site or receive the newsletter respectively. Should any user not accept the Terms and Conditions hereunder and their Annexes as a whole, we entreat them to refrain for accessing and visiting our Site. In all cases, should the User pursue their visit to our Site, they will be considered to have accepted the Terms and Conditions hereunder.
The Terms and Conditions can be modified wholly or partially solely by Anixter Argentina S.A. and/or its associates (as a group, the Service Holder), said modifications coming into force as of the very day they are published or inserted in the Site, or they are noticed by the User, what happens first. Therefore, we suggest visiting our site periodically. Any infringement to these Terms and Conditions will entitle the Service Holder to adjourn or terminate the service supply with regards to the User which has committed such infringement by act or omission.
• The Service:
The Service is an on-line communication and information service provided by the Service Holder solely to those Users who have consented to all the terms and conditions as specified in the section General Terms and Conditions and their annexes published hereinafter.
The information provided in the Service, including that information mentioned by way of reference, is gathered from a variety of sources, including the contribution of the different Service Users ("the Information Suppliers").
In no case should the Site information be considered exhaustive or complete. It is not expected to satisfy the User's needs in any way. In most cases, the Site information is simply meant to provide the User with as many data as possible on some interest topic, those data being usually supplied by third parties not related to the Service Holder, who is unable to control them at the time of loading. Therefore, the User is advised to pay special attention to the Terms and Conditions hereunder, since our responsibilities and obligations regarding safety, as well as the behavior the User should assume all for his own safety and that of the other Users, and for the supply of a good ongoing Service, will be uniquely ruled thereby.
• Responsibility for the Service Information:
The Service Holder shall not be bound by the damages which might arise from the use of the information provided through the Service, unless such information has been expressly provided with the intention of harming the Service User(s).
As present day technology does not guarantee complete lack of unwanted third party interference in Internet Sites, the Service Holder shall in no way guarantee the accuracy and/or veracity of any or all of the information contained in the Service or the upgrading thereof. Likewise, it can not guarantee that such information has not been altered or modified since its inclusion into the Service. Finally, it can not account for any other aspect or feature of the information provided through this Service or the links occasionally included therein.
In all cases, should any User feel offended or affected by the Service Information, they should direct their actions uniquely against the Information Supplier who published said offending information, expressly waiving any claims whatsoever against the Service Holder. In all cases, to the extent of its possibilities, and upon reception by the Service Holder of a written report from the User describing the offending or harmful deed, the Site Owner will be allowed to supply the offended User with all necessary data to contact the offending Information Supplier and direct his or her claim against him.
• Limitation on the Liabilities:
Except in those cases where the Holder's responsibility is limited by a Specific Policy, in all other cases in which individual or joint responsibility on the part of the Service Holder or the Information Supplier for any kind of damage related to the Service exists, the liabilities shall not exceed as a whole the monies paid by the user for the use of the information concerned or the Service provided, as applicable.
This limitation shall be applicable to any kind of liability the Service Holder and/or the Information Suppliers should pay because of any legal provision or theory, but not to those cases in which the Service Holder or the Information Suppliers are found responsible for damages to the health or personal safety of Users, provided the latter have not infringed the Terms and Conditions hereinafter or the Working Policies.
In this case, the Service Holder or the Information Suppliers shall only be liable in case the User has not been sufficiently foretold of the feasibility of the apparition of the claimed offense, either through the Service or through any other means.
• Linked sites:
The Service makes its best efforts to keep its own site free from offensive, immoral, pornographic or illegal material, and, likewise, expects sites related thereto by means of links or any other kind of telematic connection (the "Linked Sites") to do so.
• Miscellanea:

3- Copyrights: Copyright on any Site information may be duly claimed by the Service Holder, and/or the Information Suppliers and/or their respective owners, according to the Laws of the Argentine Republic or the corresponding ones, as applicable. Owners shall maintain at all times the copyright on the respective information.
Redistribution, retransmission or publication of any material without the owner or author's prior written consent is hereby expressly forbidden. Should any copyright notice on any information or download material whatsoever appear in stage, the User shall not be allowed to modify or suppress such information or download material in any way.
In case the User sends download material or information of any kind for which a license is required, the User agrees to grant the Service Holder and the Service Users a lifetime, free, non-exclusive, royalty-free worldwide license thereto. Such license shall include the right to sublicense, reproduce, distribute, transmit, exhibit, execute in public, or create material derived from any download material and/or information making up said information or download material sent to the Service Holder by the User (including, but not limited to tips for service and product improvement or renovation), whether they have been inserted by the user in the Service public access areas (including, but not limited to, information banners, forums, chat rooms) or included in any Service area by other means existent or to be developed in the future. Therefore, the User waives its right to claim or initiate any action against the Service Holder or the Service Users due to any potential or actual infringement to any copyright whatsoever on the information or download materials sent by him.
4- Contents Control: Communications and materials placed or introduced into the Service by any User thereof or by any Information Supplier is not controlled or checked by the State, the Service Holder or any other authority. 6- Duration: The provisions of paragraphs 4 (Copyright and License), 5 (Service Use), 6 (Indemnity), 7 (Third party rights) and 9 (Miscellanea) shall remain in force even after the User has called off his Service Registration.
7- Jurisdiction and Applicable Law: Relationships established between the visitor and the Service Holder and/or the Site Owner and the registered User upon access of the visitor to our Site will be ruled and guided by the laws in force in the Argentine Republic, with the exception of those laws contained in its international private law system or referring to the application of any foreign law, the User disclaiming its right to invoke any other law the application of which he could be entitled to. Furthermore, the Court of the City of Buenos Aires shall be competent to solve any controversy or legal action between the User and the Service Holder, whatever the reason of such action or claim is, the parties expressly renouncing to any other jurisdiction that might be applicable.
8- Resignation: Service Holder's failure to strictly comply with any provision of these Terms and Conditions shall not be construed as a resignation of any sort to any rights or actions he is entitled to.
9- Integration: Should any part of the present Terms and Conditions be declared void by any authority in power, the remaining parts hereof shall keep full validity and force. In all possible cases, the Service Holder reserves his right to integrate and construe the parts hereof which have not been declared void by such authority.
